Milwaukee M18 Blower (GEN I - model 2728) $149

Milwaukee has a newer version of this blower (GEN II - model 2724), and the differences are:

- lighter: 4.9 lbs vs 5.7 lbs
- higher top speed: 120 mph vs 100 mph
- two speeds: low/high
- the bare tools are $149 vs $124

So it seems that they're trying to clear this out by throwing in an M18 RedLithium XC 5.0 ah battery and M12/M18 combo charger for only $25 more. The cheapest I can find this battery/charger combination is $96 off Amazon.

I have this blower and it works great! The cfm is the same on new gen2 model. The wind speed is slightly higher on new gen 2 because the tube is narrower.

Only reason I would upgrade to gen 2 Is for better ergonomics.

This blower is great for small jobs, blowing out garage, trailer, sidewalk, deck, etc.

I only use my gas blower when I need more power for large areas with lots of leaves etc.

For this price with 5.0 bat is a great deal.

If it only was tax free....

How do you think it would be for drying a car?

I got the gen I included in last years string trimmer deal and I thought it would be dumb and I'd sell it. Boy was I wrong, it's not the strongest for lots of leaves, but it's great for almost everything else. I use it all the time.
