Just an FYI, lowest scoring OLED set per RTINGS.com. Just plain bad results for watching Movies / HDR movies.

Wanted to buy the LG OLED but worried about the burn in. Which one would you recommend?

Maybe I'm confused but what does OLED have to do with this deal?

This is not an Oled model it's a QLed and just a Gimmick naming for highend LED for this year which replaced last years KS series.

QLED is not a gimmick used for naming. Although it is not an entirely new display technology, the Q stands for Quantum Dot which does have it's benefits to traditional LED TVs without quantum dots. First, the displays can be much brighter and used in bright rooms with lots of natural light without washing the picture out. The next biggest difference is they tend to have a wider color gamut, which means the TVs can reproduce more varieties of colors than a traditional LED TV. And when paired with a good led backlight system the TVs can also produce good black levels. Of course not as good as an OLED set but the average viewer might not notice the difference especially considering the price difference and concerns burn-in. If you are referring to the model numbers vs the prior year then yes that has changed from KS to QN.

Despite not being the best performer for the original price which was about 3 grand (Samsung wanted 4 grand but it dropped instantly), for $1200 this is a pretty easy sell.

Similar performance to a X900e, better color, not as good local dimming, similar brightness. The glossy screen is great if going in a well lit room, that's a premium feature only on higher end tvs. Even the x900e doesnt have a glossy screen. Great set for gaming, very low 20ms input lag in 4k.

just add a few hundred and buy a real OLED.
QLED reminds me of the Chinatown Adibas, Puna, or Reedok sneakers.
