Got this for my mom. It's a nice little machine. Great for light browsing and office work. Beautiful screen. Very thin and very light.

I've read the ARM cpu is good but notably weaker than the m3. Thoughts? Does the Plus come with an m3 version, or just the Pro?

Based on seller reviews I'll spend the extra $50 (with coupon) and get it from BB.

The keyboard is uncomfortable to use.

ARM will perform Android Apps better than the m3. For this reason, I actually prefer the Plus. The Pro comes with the m3.

Better: as in faster or just more widely compatible?

I had an Intel Android tablet but never ran into any compatibility issues, at least in the apps use

I'm with you. I've been looking for a good deal on this Chromebook or an Asus C302, was going to pull the trigger, and then read the terrible seller reviews. Would buy for this price from any other reputable seller though.

I don't know for sure, but I've heard some apps can be buggy with the Intel chip. Chromebooks don't need a lot of horsepower so might as well go with the more efficient x64 chip than the x86.

Yes. The keyboard and speakers are my biggest complaints.

My main complaint about chromebooks in general is that for most computer apps there is no equivalent Chrome OS versions. Lots of educational apps with .exe format. No support on chromebooks. So yoy shoukd stick either with Windows or Mac
