I got this HP S700 PRO 512GB for $114 and an Adata SU800 512GB for my wife for $102. Prices are slowly coming down. They are similar in performance and both been working great as steam gaming drives. Can't compare them to m2 nvme ones but for every day use they are great. 512gb is the standard now a days since games started taking 40-60 gigs space each on average.

How does this compare to the Crucial MX500 that was also a recent deal for $99? If based on brand alone, I would trust Crucial over HP for reliability, simply based on my experience with other products between the 2 brands.

Crucial is in another league, they play with the big boys, Samsung. HP not so much. Don't take my word for it.

Why post this without a link other than to be obnoxious?

The 500gb crucial is $115 now, so for $5 more you might as well go that route
