They charged me tax on the order at the very end. Is that normal on internet orders? It didn't say what states got charged tax. I'm in Florida.

I would say so. Redundancy is the most important thing for backups. If your machine or this were to fail you should create another copy ASAP.

I did not use WD products for a while. Can I remove drive? Is it a SATA drive inside or USB (I remember that for some time WD produces a hard drive with USB only connector).
