OXO On Barista Brain Coffee Maker or Grinder $128 AC, Adjustable temp kettle $64

OXO has a 20% off sale on their electric coffee/tea gear across multiple retailers.

Bed Bath and Beyond has those prices and OXO is not excluded from their 20% off coupons, so you'll be able to pick these up for a combined 36% off retail.

Free shipping on all of these over $29

I had an offer from BBB for $20 off $75 on my account which is better than 20% if you're buying one of the kettles.

Even sweeter if you took advantage of yesterday's $100 GC for $85 ebay offer.

The coffee maker is the Wirecutter's pick [thewirecutter.com] for best drip coffee maker and is SCAA certified for approved coffee temperature and extraction.

If you are in the market for both a brewer and a kettle, there is a 12 cup version of the barista brain that includes both (the kettle is part of the system but can also be operated independently).

There's no current slick deal for it, so you'll pay for it, but something to consider before buying. I own it and love it - especially good for families with both tea and coffee drinkers.

I'm pretty sure that model is now discontinued and all the deals that were available were on closeouts. It's no longer listed on OXO's site.

Those reviews though - they may as well be selling poisoned candy to kids

Did not know, but glad you were able to point that out.

Yep, okay - never read through the amazon reviews (I got mine on sale at TJ Maxx for $80) but those seem more than enough reason to not get this. I will say mine has been great, and I got one for the in laws too who have had no issues, but that many negative reviews is a clear indicator of poor quality.

Fair enough. I think the issue is people refilling the hot kettle with cold tap water. The thermal properties of material take no prisoners. Repped for the data points

Has anyone ordered the coffee maker and actually have it shipped? My order has been "processing" since 5/8 and when i view the actual coffee maker link, it is listed as out of stock now.
