American Airlines Citi credit card???

My wife and I each got an offer in the mail to get 65,000 miles after spending $4,000 in 4 months. That seems like a pretty generous offer.

I cancelled one of these cards on 6/16 and she cancelled one on 7/17. Are we actually eligible for the miles or is there waiting period longer than we have gone?

I would hope they wouldn't have offered if we weren't eligible, but another card refused to give me the cash bonus because they said I wasn't eligible; even though they offered it. So that is probably not a fair assumption.

thanks.

Citi will let you get a signup bonus on every card type they have, but after canceling a specific card I don't believe you are eligible for 24 months to apply to that one again.

That's not to say you couldn't call them and confirm, but that has been my understanding.
