Reviews on B&H Photo complain about the small 32gb SSD drive for Windows 10. Apparently they could not do the updates because there wasn'[t enough free disk space.

It's amazing that one of these finally has 4gb of RAM, but surprising (and very unfortunate) that the CPU is so very, very week (it's pathetically slow according to (cpubenchmarks)!

This PC has a CPU with a passmark of 885, Fair warning, you can only do one thing at a time with it and it will be slow.

absolutely. the n3050 has a passmark of 885 - suitable for a grandparent sending emails. You want to use skype, share a screen, ... you want 2000 or greater. Look for PCs with the new N5000 cpu, cheap and passmark of like 2800. or the celeron n4000 cpu for at least a 1500 passmark.

you will buy this machine and stop using it in frustration.

No windows based machine should have less than a 64gb HD.

Agreed. I have an older Acer Celeron laptop with 32gb SSD and a USB stick is required to perform Windows Update. Sadwalk

I have a 16GB Windows 10 tablets which I only use occasionally for email/web browsing. Windows 10 runs fine on it (not the fastest but it is acceptable), and I don't think I need USB for Windows update unless it is one of those major annual version update.

Have you ever tried using Windows 10 CompactOS? It will allow you to save like 2-3GB for the Windows 10 installation, and also you can adjust the amount of virtual memory, hibernation file size, etc. to get another free GB back.

32gb is a joke. you can not upgrade windows or install security updates. you cant install any software as well or browse the web since it uses disk cache.

I've already uninstalled Firefox browser and a few other apps, and directed my Documents and Downloads and Pictures folders to a 128GB SD Card, and there's still not enough room without a USB stick. Windows 10 updates are getting bigger each time. Frown It doesn't help that Windows Update refuses to recognize an SD card as a storage device for updates. Frown Frown Frown

This would be okay with chromeos, but not enough cpu power or storage for Windows.

Just run CCleaner before updating to clear out old cache/temp/and update files and you should be ok. I've done this on a Direktek version of these and it seems to work.
