I have 3 of these running in my house. Works fine, performance is not gigabit but it's fast enough.

The main complaint I have on these is that the curve of the plastic casing on the top blocks the plug above just enough to prevent any 3 prong plug from fitting in. If they just made the top of the case flat, it would be ok.

Yeah, I agree, they are no-where near gigabit, but they are as fast and far more reliably stable than wireless, for things like games and VOIP (muuuuuch lower ping times, etc.).

Regarding the issue where they block the outlets, I use a set of these and have found no degredation of perfrormance at all... they worked great to allow me to use the adapters in places that I would not have been able to otherwise!
