"Up to $250 in oil and filter changes + tire rotations."

Regular oil - Typical price is $30 per service of oil & filter change in NYC area. Only if change oil every 3 months, then only it would cover 80 bucks paid for the year.

Synthetic oil - Typical price is $70 per service of oil & filter change in NYC area. This could be a better option from price point.

Am I missing something else for this service?

as long as it's under $250 total for the year, it should be covered.

Has anyone actually used this? How are they making money? Like the Moviepass service, it seems it would either get exploited or go for one run and then burn out.

A service that encourages overly frequent oil changes. Great for the environment.

Edit: Seems like your 'promo code' is actually a referral, given that it's your screen name. You do know that referrals are against forum rules, yes?

As a Uber driver this is worth it. Usually mechanics recycle oil

That's good news for the .2% of the population exploited by Uber. Sounds like a solid user base.

This sounds a lot like MoviePass. How can they sustain their business model if they cover $250/year when they are only charging $107? Any dealer or oil change facility?

Also, how does CarDash know my local dealer is participating? Is there a CarDash Mastercard I use? Nothing is clearer on their website.

This is what I got from the Chat:

For a fee of $8.95 a month, we cover all oil changes and oil filters at any shop. We simply ask that you send a copy of the invoice, and then we give our credit card information over the phone to the shop, on the spot.
