Oh my god NOOOOOOOOOO! This thing is terrible...get a Bissell any Bissell over this....Walmart has a pet one that I got for like $149 and it was so good we bought another as a gift. Hoover is a junky piece of shit, the motor on this model whistled so loud, took it back and the second one did the same thing...not enough suction and it has what sounded like the motor of a blow dryer powering it.

We ended up selling this exact model on Let Go for $25 just to get it out of our garage...we would have accepted $10 as it's next place was about to be the garbage can.

This is an extremely good carpet cleaner, the suction on it is very similar to the $500+ carpet cleaners. The only downside is it's rather small so it can take some time to carpet clean.. but really an inch or two is nothing compared to the value.

I've had mine for about 3-4 years now, attachments and the cleaner itself still work great. Also good for stairs.

This is a great deal. I bought this last year with the Amazon deal. I've used it 3 or 4 times so far and love it, coincidentally I used it today. So far I've had no issues with leaking, whistling noise or anything else. Mine came with the attachments at the same price but no gift card. The accessories make the stairs "relatively" easy to do. It's lightweight and easy to use. Understand it doesn't heat the water and requires frequent refills and emptying. This is the only negative so far. For $100 I feel that if I get 2 years out of it it was well worth it considering it costs me $100 to get my carpets shampooed Inc stairs and halls. Twice a year we're spending $200.

Really? I got one like this Hoover shipped to my house refurbished for $30.
I have had zero issue with it. Pulls the water back out like a pro. If I had a complaint, and it's not really one, it's that the dirty water tank on the bottom fills up too fast. It actually works much Better than I thought it would.

Yeah garbage for the money...sure it sucks but so do those kid toy Dirt Devil vacs...this is just cheap and built to fail. Go compare at Walmart on display, you can literally feel the quality difference, Hoover is the worst.

Also, tank isn't heated like similarly priced competitors and the brush isn't motorized just suction powered I believe. MAJOR PASS.

Also, all of the attachments including the very plasticky cheap unmanageable hose all go in a tiny clumsy mesh bag that takes up more precious space, none of the parts can be stored on or in the machine itself.

The hand tool attachments are made of hard plastic like compact disc jewel cases, piece of shit with shitty build quality.

I'm happy you all "are in agreement" but I see it as denial.

I've had this for almost 4 years. It's pretty good, still has good suction. It definitely is loud and mine now leaks I little bit.

I paid around $120 for mine. But now thinking about it I would not buy again. Pretty good, but the leak really sucks

Paid a lot more few years back at kohls but this is good and it works. Saved me a lot by not having to call professional carpet cleaners. I do one room at a time and it does take time (repeat several times on worst hit areas) but it works, always happy with the end result.
