My experience with inexpensive bags of this type is not good.handles tear,Zippers break, seams split at the worst moments. Bite the bullet and go to ebags.. Their mother load rolling duffels have served me well while traveling for a number of years. Had a problem with a handle and they immediately sent me a new bag. Please

Duffels are embarrassing. They make you look like a hobo. Just get a hardshell suitcase and call it a day. Simple, effective, reliable, and stylish.

I see a lot of flight crews walking through airports pulling e-bags. Are they considered the best, most durable luggage?

This is exactly correct. You can wait for a deal on low-quality luggage and then regret it when your belonging are strewn across the tarmac, or you can just pay wha you can afford for something that works. Instead of getting a "deal" on something that will fall apart at the worst time (and end up costing more money because you have to buy an emergency bag), just get the exact size, shape, material, and build quality that you want. Being smart in this case saves you money in the long run, and it gives you a better life.

Some people are just packing clothig to go on a vacation to the beach with their family and don't really give a damn what you think about their style. In some cases i prefer rolling hardshell suitcases but not always. I was in the airport yesterday and saw a duffel come out of the baggage chute for someone on our flight. I didn't think any less of that person. I just assumed that bag suited his needs.

Thanks OP! This will be great for the family when we go camping. Don't have to worry about getting the good luggage beat up. Throw these in the camper and ready to go!
