That's a great deal. A7Riii goes for $2800 used. Ronin is $900 right now on most sites. If you need this combo, this is about as good as it gets.

Another option for a Gimbal is Zhiyun Tech Crane 2 which is $750 which is a single handle operation. Most prefers 2 hand grip for video. Especially if you mount a heavy zoom like the 16-35 GM.

It's the era of smartphone vs. standalone image capture...

Cloud based low light rendering using nueral networking vs. software based long exposure in the hawuei...

Hope to see the lens prices drop as well as the bodies to allow photographers to compete, if they don't do something soon, smartphones are going to be spitting out compressed RAWs to the cloud with post processing streamlined to be between the image file pushed to the cloud then rendered to the phones display, until the lighroom like sliders are set, then saving a JPEG to your device.

I don't see Sony doing anything like hauwai's hand held long exposure anytime soon.

I suspect they are trying to get rid of their Ronin-M stocks since it's coming quite close to DJI's announcement of specs and pricing for their new Ronin-S. It's a pistol-grip gimbal, but DJI's mentioned they have dual handle accessories planned. So imagine you're getting the Ronin-M for just a little over $400. I'd jump on it if I didn't already purchase the camera in the winter.

Just FYI, you can get the A7Riii new for $2800 through Greentoe, USA model with USA warranty.
