I love my 5d Mark IV, but am very frustrated with it's autofocus when trying to capture my kids running around. And don't even consider using it's 4k that Canon crippled with a 1.7x crop factor and an antiquated codec that guzzles up space on your card and requires lots of processing power to just play, let alone edit. And anyone that says that no one needs 4k, would probably have said the same when DVDs came out, and again when Blu-rays came out.

If I were in the market for a full frame today, I would hands down go for the Sony a7 III, which dpreview just yesterday was "the best camera you can buy for under $2000"

Even if you have a bunch of Canon lenses, you can get a Metabones adapter for the Sony cameras. YouTube has great videos on how well the eye autofocus works even with Canon lenses on the Sony.

Title missing mk II for 6D
Though noted in description.

Interestingly, many tested reviews prove
the 6D mk II
to be inferior to the original in several ways.
😕

That's old news, but yes, people on average were pretty disappointed with that camera in comparison with similarly priced bodies from Nikon and Sony.

People sell the printer body , printer heads and cartridges separately to maximize profit

I don't think it's inferior to the original in any way. It's just that it has some drawbacks relative to other products in (or near) its category:
  • It has way more AF points that the original, but its AF system was lifted from the APS-C 80d, so it has big gaps in coverage on the periphery.
  • Only the center-AF point registers at -3EV (same as original), which may be a letdown to prospective buyers.
  • Low-ISO dynamic range is worse than the T7i, which is a probably, because why are you buying a F/F sensor if it gets outperformed in this area by a newer crop? (per DPReview)
  • AF performance (not the hallmark of the original) suffers at higher-speed shooting.
If you want a better F/F, you save up for the 5d IV. If you want better performance that's cheaper -- well, look at the 7d II (probably no better in low-ISO DR) or T7i. (Personally, I shoot a 7D Mk II and love it, although I certainly would love to have a F/F for higher indoor performance, but I do well with my f/1.4 and f/1.8 primes.)

I have both original 6D and the 7Dii and I wouldn't say 7Dii has better performance. They are 2 very different cameras.

Agreed
Now, between slr manufacturers, the Nikon 750 FF is a remarkable camera and if not already invested in glass, a 6D/ 6D II beater.

I want Salma Hayek. What about it now? Sometimes I don't understand why post these one liners. Are you asking a question or making a statement? No value add to the ongoing discussion.
