I have this monitor. I'm pretty happy with it for the price. The only thing I was disappointed with is that the vesa mount is high in the back. This made it difficult to find a desk arm that would allow for the monitor to hover high above my laptop monitor on my hydrolic standing desk. I had to cut some blocks of wood and place them between the monitor C clamp to raise the mount.

somebody on newegg user reviews claimed to test with a leo bodnar device and input lag was 30-40 ms which is high for a monitor, more like an hdtv.

i had just assumed all pc monitors had negligible lag but maybe that's not the case anymore?

that's IF this one reviewer was credible,

Why didn't you just flip it 180 degrees and in the monitor setup, set it 180 degrees to counteract it? You aren't going to hurt the monitor being upside-down and that would have positioned the VESA mount lower.

Hmm. Thanks I'll try that.

Great find. Still waiting for AMD to catch up to Nvidia regarding 4k @ 60fps. When they do I will jump on team red.

Wonder how good this looks in 1080p? I won't have a laptop with 4K external video for a couple of months so I'd need to use it in 1080p

I bought this for my niece and it looks very good at 1080p. The nice thing about a 4k monitor is 1k scales up exactly, unlike a 1440p

Thats a great point if its thats simple. Helped me decide between this and a 1440p

What about the opposite, does 1440p or any particular resolutions not scale or look good on this monitor?

Ill take a guess, the 1 time it was $288 was around BF or xmas sales?

Which is the time i was gonna buy and got so busy i left in my cart for a couple days trying to time the delivery due to travel. and eventually missed it by just a couple of hours

So hard to pay more for it mentally when that happens, but in this case i need one asap and still a decent price so ill have to put my deal conscience alter ego in a choke hold for a min while i checkout

That's when I got it. Otherwise I would have waited for IPS to come down.

This one. In 4K it looks great. 4K will spoil 1080p for you, especially when you need to *work*.

The only cons to it I have found so far are that I occasionally see a bit of flicker, and it sometimes gets signal issues when switching from 1080p back to 4K. The first might just be that I have particularly sensitive eyes, and the second is resolved by quickly turning it off and on again, and only happens when I actually exit my game of choice.

At that time, Monprice 4K 32" IPS was at $350 so this one dropped to below $300 during BF last year. If you're used to IPS this monitor is intolerable. I tried and returned it even though the price was much cheaper than this deal.

I know but I've never purchased from monoprice so I don't know how good they are. I really want a dell 32" IPS or a 32 from Costco because the warranty doubles when purchasing with the Costco visa.
