Some people re-do their garden beds every year. It's approximately $50/day to rent a gas powered Mantis tiller from HD.

Amazon reviews seem to indicate it's pretty good. I bought one this morning. Have a new house and a neglected yard, need to do a decent amount of tilling. Hope it does the job.

I have this machine (or a very similar model) and it works very well in my dirt, which is pretty compacted and hard. Be sure to get the right extension cord though. I use a 12awg 100' cord.

Doesn't mention how long you have, couldn't find that:

"If an item previously purchased from Walmart.com (not including items from a Marketplace or third-party seller on our site) is now listed at a lower price, and the item is within its eligible return window, contact Walmart.com Customer Care to request an adjustment for the price difference
Price adjustments are not available for Clearance, Special buy, Value of the Day, 1 Hour Guarantee prices, or for prices shown from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday"

Got one. Been waiting for a good price on the 12 Amp model. The 13.5 Amp was on sale recently for $108 or so at Walmart, but that requires a heavier gauge extension cord than I own or want to buy. Thanks OP!

I have this. Used it last summer for my four 4'x10' raised gardens. It had no issues with the compact dirt, and even handled somewhat hard clay soil I tilled along my fence line. Can't say I have any complaints.

Doesn't it make sense to rent one of these, since most people would only ever use it once when you do over ur garden...

Its probably around ~$40-50 each time annually so it's more of a convenience thing if you have the space in the garage.

Tried to adjust but I guess the tiller last week is a different item. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sun-Jo.../537192375
