First post so go easy but I thought these were a decent price and thought I'd share. Already have 2 and they work great as back lighting for tv's or just a regular lamp..

Thank you! Just bought one. This will be my third lol. For some reason I really like these, but retail is too expensive for me

For those that have had this for some time, do you actually carry it with you around your house? I'm stacked with Hue lights, but this is one I just can't see myself using for it's intended purpose.

"Certified Refurbished" by a third-party.

It looks like a cool device, but the battery life is short (3 hours), the (non-standard) plug is placed in a silly position, and it's only 300 lumens.

Yes. It will not work without the hue hub.

Looks like price jumped up to $49.99.

Edit: Err, nope OP's $47.99 link still available but refurbs from another seller are $49.99 and are Prime Shipping eligible.

Edit2: A number of warnings in the reviews for buying refurbished Hue Go lamps from third party sellers...beware...

I run 2 of these near my gaming pc. I have it integrated with Razer Chroma lighting. For those of you that care for that kind of stuff ... it does make for a neat/immersive gaming experience.

Give it a try! Highly Recommended!

Also, I prefer the Hue Go, over my Hue Bloom and standard Hue bulbs. Even tho the lumens has low output, the aesthetics of the Hue Go itself, just really looks nice when displayed (ymmv)

i want to clarify. you don't need a hub to use the light. it has presets. but you need the hub to control it fully.

I use it for fort lighting and telling stories with my kids. Also handy during power outages

Got 3 from the eBay coupon deals for a bit less each.

They are perfectly fine. One behind TV, one on my nightstand, other in basement office.

The nightstand is tied into Sleep as Android and helps me wake up. It's so freaking bright, right in my face, when my alarm goes off. Love it.
