I have 2 different lengths of this black rubber hose 50/75feet that I got off SlickDeals. Mine have silver colored couplings versus the brass.

I do not like the way the black rubber hose handles when trying to roll it out or wind it up compared to the normal green garden hose.

When better non black rubber garden hoses go on sale I will replace both of my black rubber and give them away. They may hold up very well to weather and last for years, but for me I do not like the way they handle.

You must live somewhere in the south. The normal harden hoses are ridiculous to roll in freezing temperatures. All rubber is the way to go, the extra weight is the only downfall.

Pass on the new hose maybe if we stopped buying it they would bring back the good hose. I have 10 Craftsman's hoses all great went in to Sears to get a ratchet set fixed or replaced checked out the new hose no where near the thickness or quality of the older ones.I told the manager there that was the only reason I went to Sears anymore now gone.

Like someone else, I need 75'... The last time I bought a hose, also 75' everone was oohing and awwing over the Neverkink. I now have a hose permanently connected to the faucet, and a spray attachment permanently attached to the other end of the hose. Whatever metal they are using, it has high "sticktion" I even took the hose wtith nozzle on it and stuck it in the vice (yes it reached) and put my biggest wrench on the nozzle, and was unable to break them free. Must be a secret that was in the manual I didn't get with the hose. What is the magic password, like "unscrewme" Neverkink and their "never come undone" connectors are off the radar for me...nothing to do with the Craftsman, just caught me in a rant.

Black & Decker bought the Craftsman brand from Sears in March 2017, and since then has been running it into the dirt. They've switched to the ultra-cheapest Chinese junk across the entire brand, and are today just using the Craftsman name so scam people into buying ultra crappy stuff at premium prices.

DO NOT BUY THIS HOSE. It's made of a rubber specifically designed to corrode quickly and will rub off and leave residue on your hands/clothes. It is not normal Craftsman quality, and it is 100% an attempt to scam you.

Anyone have any warranty experience with the old hose? There are no Sears where I purchased the hose 5 years ago. I called Craftsman and they said to go to Kmart. The part number is different for the replacement hose so no warranty from Kmart. Ace carries these hoses also but they won't warranty it. I also have the receipt but Kmart will only warranty it with exact part numbers. I haven't called Craftsman back yet. The old hose will have to go on a plane to get to the closest Sears. This is in Hawaii. Don't even know if Sears will exchange it with different part numbers.

Do they have a 60'? That would be ideal for reaching my pool with minimum back pressure.

I was able to get one of the older Craftsman ones from a local Kmart but I don't know if they're being manufactured anymore. The model numbers on the new ones are definitely different.

According to picture, same as I bought last year. Bought 3, never used them. Have older one outside that I did use.
