This 10" all stainless frying pan is going for around $120 on other sites (Bed Bath & Beyond, Williams Sonoma, Bloomingdales, etc). For some reason this is a lower price than even the 8" stainless frying pan. A good deal!

I've never used All-Clad before, but they have a good reputation. This will be my first!

I have these pans - they can get discolored after some use / dishwasher cleaning. Scrub with Barkeepers Friend and they shine like new.

Am I only one here who cares less about how pans look and more about how they perform? I went through that stage too though when I first got all clads. 9 years and many meals later they're all caked with burnt grease on bottoms. The patina isn't ugly, it's a reminder of my wonderful wife who made me all those meals. Happy Mother's Day.

You used a dishwasher, that's the problem. Even though it says dishwasher 'safe', it's technically true. It doesnt hurt the pan but the dishwasher does beat the shit out of anything you put into it. It made it look like crap. It is a visual thing, but it doesnt affect the performance of the pan itself.

Never put expensive stuff in the dishwasher. Best to hand wash most of your stuff if you care about it.

That seems like a price mistake....but I ordered one. 10" is my "every day"size pan. And while I have a couple good pans, nothing of this caliber.

I have a SS pan, but it really sucks. I use (and love) my cast iron more than it.

All-Clad is way over price. It used to be good, and the service was awesome.
Yet, recently I got bad apple. I could not get any support for my $120.00 defective pan. Customer support was like: you are on your own, sorry can't help.
From now on, I'd rather avoid All-Clad

Could it be you violated some sort of agreement? Did you buy it from an authorized retailer? Was it within the warranty period?

Nah, I bought it from Macys.
The info for the pan said that It's machine washable. And I put it to my dishwasher, totally ruined my pan.

Just saw the 12inch d5 fry pan at Marshall's for $69. No lid though.

The stainless steel pan was discolor, looked old after the first wash, and scratching all over.
It looked similar to the following picture but worse. I understand that detergent might've caused this problem. But at least I should get some warning / or care instruction for the expensive pan. And customer support said it's a normal use and wear, and not cover under warranty. So my few days old expensive pan looked like a beat up one.

SS is like cast iron pans, you need to season them, at least with mine I did. After that, only hand wash them.
