In addition to the OP's great deal (Model 2307), the 'deluxe version' (Model 2305) is also on sale at both HD & Amazon. This version is just like the OPs except it also includes the 'flex shaft' as well as a carrying case. Price: $20.32

I bought two of these last fall to replace my Dremel that died. One with the flex shaft and it's been great, especially the flex shaft. I've used it for many various projects at school, in my garage, and loaned it to fellow students for their projects. All my Dremel bits fit just fine and even new ones I bought as well. Even yesterday, I was using the flex shaft with the polishing wire bit to help clean off the battery terminals and rings on my truck battery. Did a much better job than by hand and having the flex shaft made it a breeze without having to hold the weight of the tool awkwardly. The $12 price is a great price and the flex shaft option on Amazon for less than $9 more is worth it to me. If I haven't already bought a second one for school and loaning out, I'd be buying it now.

Man, the brand whores in this thread are unbelievable. $12 rotary tool, end of discussion. It works, you can buy name brand bits and accessories for it, I don't see what the problem is here. Anyone buying a tool for this price knows it is disposable and not to be compared to higher end tools in terms of build quality or longevity. These are the types of people who see a kick-ass deal on a Hyundai and bitch that it's not a BMW.

Will the accessories fit Dremel? Like as a cheap back up accessory set?

FWIW, you can get the carrying case + the flex shaft + the basic corded rotary tool kit for $20.32 total ( $8.40 more than the basic tool kit by itself).
