(Dead)1000x pack of 70 hardness O-rings for mechanical switches - $7.07@Amazon.com

Amazon currently has the below on sale for $7.07.

Sterling Seal ORBN008x1000 Number-008 Standard O-Ring, Buna Nitrile Rubber, 70 Durometer Hardness, 3/16" ID, 5/16" OD (Pack of 1000)

The price has been dropping a couple cents every few hours. This is great deal for o-rings that quiet down mechanical keys that most people bottom out on. Standard keyboards take about 104x rings and add few extra for they larger keys like space bar which requires 3x rings. This should cover a couple keyboards and you can even try double up on rings per key just to try out.

The average price for 104x from a quick ebay search is $1 - $9. So this deal seems great to me and no waiting for the cheap stuff shipped from china.

Yes. I used to sell this brand at my old job (I worked for a b2b distributor of hardware and electronic components.) Sterling Seal is a good brand. They are based in NJ. So they aren't some cheap chinese brand.

I honestly have no idea, as I can't tell who the manufacturer of those are. The only thing I can tell you is that Sterling Seal (the brand from the OP) is quality. They are the manufacturer of their parts. They aren't AS9100/9102 or ISO9001 certified so they can't sell anything as mil-spec, but from what I remember it's all made to the mil-spec.

They aren't as well known as Parker Hannifin or Marco Rubber. (Which we used to sell also.) But Sterling seal stuff is good and durable.

I think the best deal in O-rings, if you need assorted sizes, is this pack of 397 of them in assorted sizes [harborfreight.com] at Harbor Freight. I needed some for my air hose reel, and this was highly recommended by the GarageJournal.com forum people. Sure enough it included o-rings that fit and worked for my reel, and I now have a lifetime supply of O-rings in different sizes. They are also available in metric sizes at HF.

I have a Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro (with CherryMX Brown keys). Love the keyboard but the case noise is horrendous. Do you think these o-rings will help?

Yes it will, once you install an o-ring and compare to a key without there is a major difference in sound.

I anyone is looking for the lower price just watch these over time. The price kept dropping due to the amazon price algorithm. I think the normal price was $9 - $11 before it started dropping in price every so hour. Once people starting buying the product the price keeps going up it hits the normal price. I am sure it will drop in price again.
