JCPenny Home Solid Bath Towels 74% off - $15.99

Noticed a pretty solid deal for bath towels on JCPenny right now. JCP 6pc towel set is $19.99 and $15.99 after you apply the code GOSHOP66 at checkout, which makes it 74% off original.

Seems like most other towel sets are on sale too though, so not sure if this is a sale or if it's literally always on sale...

30x54 is standard for bath towels. You're thinking of bath sheets which are way too large.

Pass on these towels. Purchased these towels on 3/4/17, now 14 months later they cannot hold up against Amazon Utopia towels purchased on 6/28/15, which are nearly 36 months old. These JCP towels are flat, losing most if not all of their softness. The Utopia towels get more use since they are nicer, at just under twice the cost. Don't skimp on towels would be my recommendation, unless of course you like to have general purpose rags for the garage / shop.

Don't know about online, but heads up I was in jcp in store yesterday and they have like a third of the place on clearance with a decent selection, especially if you need clothes for anyone.

Title and pic are describing and showing bath towels. Deal is for 2 Bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. Not a good deal. Basically click-bait here. May be ignorance or purposeful, but very misleading. If this were as described by OP, wouldn't be a bad deal.

I agree with the 'dont skimp part'. I tried with Kohl's big ones and regret it. Over a year later and they still pill/shed.

Yes. I pay full retail for everything at this store. So does everyone else. They never have sales.

I really like everything I've tried from utopia. They're just Chinese produced linens and I've ordered most of my sheets from dhgate for much less after initially trying them off Amazon. But haven't tried the bath towels. I will now.
