This may be an odd question but why do they call it low fat?
Also, what is the difference between this and using a convection or conventional oven?

Low fat because you use less oil, presumably. ( Than a deep fryer )

These tend to have larger fans relative to their volume, which can mean more air circulation. They are also designed to catch oil properly in a basin instead of potentially allowing drips on heating elements.

These are good for chicken wings or fatty foods, French fries never came out good for me in the air fryer.

3.2 quart, a bit on the small side, not really a good price for this size

This would have been great if it had been the large size

Bought one this size and had to wait for 3 batches of wings to be fried in order to feed 3 people....get a bigger one. Also you need to turn the food, sometimes more than once, not as easy as it sounds. End result was good but took longer than we expected.

Would you say the size tray is perfect for one person though?

Shouldn't this be $60 even? They are offering a 20% off code and a 5% off coupon on the same item so it should be 25% off but they seem to be ignoring the 5% at checkout

If that's the only air fried item on the menu than yes.

This.

I bought one on here and it came last week. Did a few runs last night on French fires and wings. Wing came out good but not fires.

Fries come out great in mine (though I only made sweet potato fries). Use a spray oil to lightly coat the potatoes before putting them in the fryer.

I'm actively looking for one, but as people have said, 3.2qts for this price is terrible. Not a deal.
