I don't think you're looking at the same product, it's $257.56 on Amazon from an authorized seller without tax: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-l...137&sr=8-1

This kind of makes the 'slickdeal exclusive' price from a couple days ago look stupid.

Direct from Amazon is $203 out the door. Not sure what the difference is...

It's not gel-infused, the one you're looking at $183 is different

were they too firm? my issue with my current mattress (14") is that it is too soft.

I bought this one from Amazon last week. Queen size. It arrived on Thursday and I unwrapped it first thing Friday morning. I left the windows open and the fan on over the weekend.

It's now Monday evening, so it's 84 hours since I opened it and the new mattress smell of it is still in the room. Not overpowering but it's still there and clearly noticeable.

I need to sleep on it tonight, so I hope it won't smell too much and interfere with my sleep.

Other threads comment on it, but I'm hoping I won't need to send it back.

Was just looking at these on Amazon. Reading the reviews indicate there are a large number or people who ended up with mold smell issues. These cant be sent back since you cant put them back in box. Amazon may credit your purchase if you are within the return windows, but its iffy. If its outside that return window, you would have to send it to the manufacturer on your dime.
All seems scary.
Lots of 5 stars, 1 line reviews that look fake.

Thoughts on the 8" full for kids? Read up on the fiber glass issue and am a bit worried about that.
