Because you did not understand why XPS 15 is made for and confused it with a to be Gaming laptop. This Laptop is targeted towards crowd who want a top end laptop with very high batter life, higher portability, superb build quality without sacrificing the performance, both in CPU and Graphics. This is targeted towards Productivity, Content creation, designing, art works etc and GTX 1050 / Ti are just fine for that. For those kind of works, jumping from 1050 ti to GTX 1060 will not give you that much performance boost as in gaming. The main concentration on this laptop is on Build quality, quality of the display, battery life, keyboard etc.

If you are buying a gaming laptop then buy EVGA. XPS 15 is not a gaming machine, it is productivity laptop with very decent Graphics power for light gaming...but main focus on Productivity tasks.

Also, not sure why the negative voting, this is by far the cheapest price for the new XPS 15

Yes, it is and Ram as well. the Ram is soldered on the XPS 15 2-in-1 model.

This is a great price. I'd be all over it if I needed a new laptop. But happy with my current one!

Lot of computer for the money. XPS has one of the most usable trackpads out there. Still short of a MBP, but it's not infuriating like most Windows PCs
