This is an official Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter. It supports mirroring of what is displayed on your device screen - including apps, presentations, websites, slideshows and more - to your HDMI-equipped TV, display, projector or other compatible display in up to 1080p HD.

Essentially it allows you to connect HDMI cables to your iOS device, while also charging it (lightning pass through, hence the second port).

Compatible with all iPhones from the 5 upwards. See the Apple product page here [apple.com] for full list of compatible devices. Note too a decent number of poor reviews.

This item is fulfilled by Amazon (Woot is owned by Amazon), so you can trust the authenticity of the product. You can sign in with your Amazon account on Woot without having to create a new account. Amazon Prime members get free shipping, otherwise it's $5 to ship.

On Amazon, it's listed at $39, and Apple retail price is $49.

This offer expires when sold out or at 11:59pm CST, Tuesday May 15 (when woot lists their next daily deal).

I have one of these and it mirrors the display and doesn't look good on any display I have hooked it up with. I wouldn't use it for Netflix or Hulu.

Don't listen to the other guy. It looks pretty good. I use this all the time, I travel a lot, download videos for offline viewing or stream if I have data. So convenient to pop up a movie at a hotel. I already have 2x and am debating to buy more to keep in each suitcase to make sure I never lose it. Extremely helpful and well worth the $30+ EA that I paid. At this price it is a steal.

Iphone 7+ here. I've mirrored Movie Box and basketball streams from safari. The mirroring from safari works really well and quality is replicated. However, on movie Box, a 720p movie will be mirrored with a bit less quality and a bit darker. Still worth it though.

May I suggest a firestick for your travels?

This looks awesome! Has anyone ever used this with like Netflix/Hulu and can attest to how it looks? I've been without a computer a few times when I travel but would love to still watch a show on TV.

I think apple branded one is really only version that works with protected content (exs Netflix Hulu). Have never had display issues, should look pretty good depending on your connection and settings

"Warranty: 90 Day Woot Limited Warranty"

This concerns me. If it's truly new, why not Apple warranty?

Also, reviews on Apple's own site are pretty sketch.
