Price is very good for that saw, not sure why the downvotes. Just not the saw I want Big Grin

Post could use alot more detail. However. Main points against this saw are:

- 6.5" blade like previous poster mentioned is not the typical circular saw blade size (7.25") so will be harder to find and more likely expensive
- Not the brushless model, lower power

I'm watching for a good deal on DCS570B

While it is the smaller blade, it still cuts pretty well. If you are going to be doing a lot of cutting, you'll likely get out a corded saw. But this thing is great when you are doing a few cuts. Cuts plywood with ease and 2x4's with no problem. Because the rpms are lower than with a corded saw, just go slow and let the blade do the work, making sure you cut straight and not get it in a bind. Lowe's has had this for $99 for a while, so this is a good deal.

Wow, this seems like a pretty stellar deal. I jumped on as it's marked "Almost Gone." There are two down votes already, can someone give me a reason why I should cancel? CCC says the average price is $116 and the lowest ever is $99.

Good for light duty work because of low rpm and 6.5" blades are expensive.

Get it if you need a basic saw. I had the 18v version & it are up batteries fast and couldn't even cut plywood sheets.

Not sold out...

This is a stellar circular saw. This will do absolutely everything that the average homeowner will need. Dewalt really stepped it up with the 20v

If you couldn't cut through plywood then I think you need a new blade.

Appears to be a stellar deal, and should serve you well. I had the 18v a few years ago. No problems at all.
But DeWalt has a 7-1/4 brushless now, which would be better for larger jobs tho.

Great saw. love it; great to pull out when I don't want to run my extension cord for those few cuts. Not great if you're going to make this your primary saw and you're planning on building that deck - Get a corded 7.25" saw. Mine cuts through 1/2" plywood just fine; blades are reasonable when you catch them on sale at your local home center.

Saw performers pretty well if you happen to have a 5amp battery. Motor overheated pretty quickly on laminate flooring with 100 tooth blade (may have been user error)
