Found the EcoBee 3 bundle with 3 room sensors on clearance at Costco store for $140. Regular price is $250+ at other stores. Worth checking if you are in market for this.

What club did you hit up? Do we know if Costco does nationally price discounting? IE if this store is clearance, all stores are clearance.

Confirmed-ish.... called a club, guy put two aside for me at $149.97. Looks like clearance pricing can vary club to club.

After I obtain, I will release club location.

Is ecobee3 cloud indpendent? I.e. if internet is down can I still manage schedule and other things? Obviously upcoming weather won't be possible (if it even uses such info)

It's partially cloud dependent: schedule can be managed at the unit.
Changes will be reflected online when net is back up.

Nice price! I bought it when it was $199... I know it dropped to $180 before as well. Also got a utility rebate of $75 so I paid $125+$20 (wa sales tax).

Even thinking of buying extra sensors.

I had the Honeywell Lyric before and this Ecobee 3 is better IMHO. I debated between the Ecobee and Nest but I liked the idea of the extra sensors.

The $75 rebate was a bonus too!

I'm replacing Honeywell T5 and Lyric. App is a piece of shit. I honestly don't think it actually keeps the temperature correctly either.

Costco - Lewisville TX has 5 left. $149.97 + tax.

Even though my utility company is going to give me $100 off each Nest, I still like the Ecobee for my situation. I don't want to let them have control over my thermostat.

Thanks OP.

$140 - even dollar amount is typically that local store's markdown. $149.97 seen elsewhere is a clearance price (.97 ending is the tip off) and is typically national.
