WOW Air is starting service to New Delhi in December and is offering $199 flights to/from Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York (EWR), Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St. Louis or Washington D.C.

Being that it's WOW Air, you're flying through Iceland either way.

Service to DEL will be available from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI), Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL).

Available for travel 10 January – 31 March, 2019. The offer applies for 4200 seats on selected flights, only when booked on a return trip.

Those who want to go to India, this is the best time. Nice weather, not too hot. And all major cities are connected with good airports and low cost airlines. Also online visa available for US citizens

I'm curious to see how bad the seats are in peasant class. Imagine flying for 20+ hours with no leg rooms LOL

I imagine you will have plane change in Iceland. If you choose a layover make sure you get snacks and spirits in your departing Duty-Free. Also pack instant coffee from the states.

Just FYI food and drinks at the airport are also expensive.
