Interesting combo, not sure it will be a great value for many people who happen to be looking for these particular tools in cordless. I could use the 18v vac if it popped up cheap, but the others I prefer my corded versions.

Cool combo that isn't the norm. I'm not sure if I'm in yet, but like to see they have combos that don't include the drill/driver that I already own.

The vacuum is great. I also have the router but haven't used it yet.

Awesome combo for the starting woodworker. Even better if you're already in the Ridgid ecosystem. I'm already invested in Ryobi, Milwaukee and Bosch with corded DeWalts...

I've been wanting the vacuum, but is rather see it paired with a sawzall or a light. Router and sander is not something I use much.

i have all of the pieces in this set.
the router is pretty kickass for what it is, but it needs 4Ah batteries... bogs very easily with 2Ah.
the orbital sander is also very nice.
the vacuum isn't great, the filter and dust bin is setup really poorly.

If I didn't already have the sander, I'd jump on this.

Can you table mount this router? I am looking to get a router to do a tounge and groove in my cabinets project. Or should I get a full router?

Sadly budget full routers are fixed speed and all the bits I have found for tounge amd groove are rated for lower rpm

Agreed. LSA included. This is very tempting to me. I'm glad to see another combo that doesnt always Include a drill.

I have lots of old woodworking tools already, though missing a freeform router, and a decent sander. I'd be curious how well the router holds up and if 2ah is enough. It might be fine since it's brushless. Same with quality of vacuum.

But yeah, these tools tend to be much more "in the shop" with less of a need for cordless. Primarily a convenience thing, I'd say.

These rigid tools.. Had sawzall and impact fail.. 4 batteries have failed in two years.. Would have bought another brand like Milwaukee or dewalt if I could do again.. Yes had them replaced with warranty

If you're like me and got the drill/driver combo I would think you'd already have 4.0 ah batteries?

Honestly I'd bite if this was 150 without the batteries, or had a Sawzall instead of the vacuum.
