I have purchased from Weekly Closeouts at Rakuten before and have not had any issues - they will ship directly from the Dell outlet. Decent deal with no tax for most.

Wut? You want to run split screen on a 13" monitor? And game on an integrated Intel graphics chip? Alrighty boss.

$618, not $900

4k is a bad idea on a 13" laptop, it just suck battery power while not adding any value (I feel the same way about touchscreens, which also add weight, but that is a personal preference).

I have a few generations ago version with similar specs (9350: i5 6200u, 1080 non touch, 8gb, 128) and aside from the small SSD (which is upgrade-able, and the new Samsung evos are now coming down in price), and the lack of a non-USB-C display-out, it is the perfect machine (got it for a steal new in 2016, thanks slickdeals!!)

Until I upgrade the SSD, I have a 128 micro SD in a perfect fit flush mounted sd adapter [amazon.com] that gives me plenty of storage for infrequently used files.

If you are ok with the refurb I say go for it. I think this one is better than the "upgraded" version which looses the standard USB ports to shave off a micron.

I emailed the seller. Per seller:

"This does come with a 1 year Dell warranty or a 90 day warranty with us if
the item is defective."

Not a bad deal, this same model was just on sale at Dell outlet with 15% off, and another 15% urlhasbeenblocked 2 days ago, plus whatever cc % you got back. I actually ended up getting the 4gb model for $400.

I rather pay a little more and buy the in microcenter. same specs for $750 new. BUT it also comes with 1080 TOUCH DISPLAY. and FINGERPRINT READER.

Can you provide the link for this? I don't see it on microcenter.

Ho much is each of the following worth that this is lacking;
- Refurb., not new
- Core i5, not i7
- Full HD, not 4K
- Non-touch display, not touch display
- 8GB RAM, not 16GB (soldered on, so not upgradable)
- 128GB SSD, not 256GB or 512GB
- No fingerprint reader, fingerprint reader
- Windows Home, not Windows Proi

it's also only $619, which is phenomenal for a small premium laptop with this kind of specs.
