I think DVR is still only unavailable for beta users. Since they already know how this works and since they get email notifications of updates, I'm not sure what this thread is announcing.

The DVR is currently out of beta (available for everyone). It hasn't hit roku yet but should be available on nearly everything else right now.

Ok thanks, I stand corrected. Good news for all users.

The biggest problem with this deal is it's DIRECTV! (Fawk them - I will never be a customer of theirs again)

Why wouldn't you just subscribe to something like Playstation Vue. They have had their cloud based DVR service for quite a while. And, they don't limit you to "20 hours"

When are they going to introduce the skinny package (15 bucks) that I've read about. Supposedly it has same channels as the 35 dollar package minus sports stuff

If you're an AT&T wireless customer, you will be getting a big discount. I have the $60 Direct TV package and I'm paying in the $20s.

If anyone doesn't like it, pass and keep shopping. I have great service and speed.

Sorry you don't and I just received this free Beta today.

It's announcing 20 hours of free Beta DVR service. Would you like help deciphering the text on the offer page?

I like how they snuck in that "recordings will last 30 days" in the fine print.

Why this app isn't out on Android TV boxes is beyond me...that is the only reason why I am stilling using this PoS Apple TV!
