cannot be unlocked for gsm use anymore

Any moto E4 can be unlocked except these IMEI => 353308088xxxxx or 353308089xxxxx or 354136090xxxxx

The newer ones CANT be unlocked. Only ones prior to a certain imei number... Here is how to know...

Replace the verizon sim with your sim of choice prior to initial power up. power it up. if the phone asks for an unlock code it can be unlocked. if it asks whether you have a verizon account or wish to set one up, your out of luck...

Bought this phone without the offer @60$ and tried to unlock. Tried 2 sellers on eBay. Seems like they can't unlock it anymore.

Is that true? eBay sellers are still selling...I just bought unlock code on an e4 I bought a while back...will let you know how it goes..

They can unlock the old ones but Verizon fixed the loophole they were using on the new ones
