Not a great deal, only for a 4gig RX580 with terrible reviews and a mediocre price. This should easily be a 199$ card.

Yep, the 4GB card may even be lower than that given it's age. This is not a deal.. It's literally $50 (or more) over MSRP.

GTX 1070 > RX 580

A great frame of reference for GPU hierarchy is this page: https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...,4388.html

It is not a great deal. But we cannot compare it to MSRP. These cards have not gone for MSRP for well over a year.

Is it a deal compared to the $300+ normal asking price for RX580 4GB cards? Yup.

But knowing how graphics cards have started to come down in price, it's probably better to wait a month or 2 For bigger price drops.

That's not true..

Firstly, the cards didn't really get so high until around November. I purchased my RX 580 8GB off the shelf of Microcenter last August @ $250.00. Additionally, the RX 580 8GB card has been seen at MSRP ($250.00) in just the few past weeks for Best Buy. At this very moment, a few retailers are also dropping their prices.

I cannot stress this enough: do not buy these cards a dime over MSRP. They will return to their normal prices soon enough.

Wow, that was a really good deal for the market at that time!

Not sure if these were out a year ago, but this is way overpriced for what you are getting. Last year around this time I grabbed an 8gb RX480 for $150. A month later prices spiked, and I ended up selling it. Let the miners gamble. Like you said wait a month, or 2.

I can't seem to find MSRP for these cards online. Is MSRP for the 580 8GB generally $250 and would you say anything at or below is at least an ok price? I'm not in a hurry to purchase.
