I didn't see this posted yet. Costco finally came out with reusable triple bladed razors. They are about 30% cheaper than the main competitor. More of an FYI. It will be slick when they run a coupon for it.

Just a friendly reminder that DE razor shaving is still cool and cheap. Initial out of pocket investment is about $50 which can last you a very long time. Of course for some this becomes a very expensive as they start buying more "gear" Smilie

I saw these at my local Costco, but wanted to check for reviews yet. Gillette is only brand that doesn't hack up my face, but I'm tempted to give these a try.

Doesn't look like it's compatible with my existing powered handle.

I'm amazed that Gillette hasn't been forced to lower prices. Me and most people I know have gone back to old school safety razors. I know the masses haven't, but it seems like it's a trend that's still growing and not going away when people realize they can use a new razor every couple shaves for pennies instead of using a Gillette razor way past it's prime just due to cost.

Don't you pay a premium to import them from Germany?

DE as in "Double Edge", not country abbreviation. If your comment is of humorous nature, then ignore 🙄

I think it's more has to do with convenience then anything else. DE shaving does take time to adjust, plus there is always prep time. Time is something most of America doesn't have a luxury of. Gillette knows it, so does Dollar Shave Club.

What difference in the prep time? You lather up and shave. And, honestly, it didn't take me any adjustment. I cut myself less, it shaves closer because I use fresh razors, and it takes me less time because I have to rinse the blade less and it doesn't clog up. Sure, if you want to buy into a lavish olde tyme ritual (hot towel, oil the face, lather, etc), that would be a change. But it's just switching out an expensive razor for a cheap one at the end of the day.

30 seconds is a long time for us Americans.

We need to get back to binge watching Netflix ASAP laugh out loud

btw I use DE blades and wish I switched sooner.

Same. I actually save time with a safety razor as I can go longer between shaves over using a Gillette. And, sure, you're not going to retire early with the savings, but I think of it as a free lunch a month.
