Has a 90-day newegg warranty and 5 year manufacturer warranty included. Worth taking the risk IMO. Very cheap storage that I'll just be using to store media files for my plex server. Not sure if this drive would be very suitable as a main system drive that will be constantly put under stress, depends on how much run time the drive has on it before it was refurbished.

Do you think it would be a good drive for a 3rd backup? I recently realized how important the rule of 3s are ....

The 5 year manufacturer warranty starts from when the drive was produced right? Not if we purchase today?

all my past HD warranty experiences have set warranty expirations based on the drive production date after entering serial. same case here?

I bought it to store my blu-ray rip.

I got a mobile rack, put in pull out like a server.

Who really cares how many hours it got, right?

My 2nd one came with no UPC too. So I get a $10 gc again and it will take 2 days in the email.
