They connect online to play some games and activities. Assign chores and give coins for completed tasks. Sleep, step and activity track of course

Doubt this has built in GPS, seems to be just an activity tracker... As is it keeps track of steps, sleep and so on... GPS would be an awesome feature tbh... but I recon it would need to be hooked up to a data line for it to work.

Verizon has a device for that, ot does require a data line but allows for pre-programmed text responses

No clue why this made it front page. This is the 2016 version. They've been down to at least $49 on amazon. Not sure if the extra band is even worth it. Vivo fit Jr 2 isn't much better but it is a newer piece of hardware and has a color display. They also have a bigger variety of bands(I wouldn't necessarily say a better variety).

Yeah- not sure it's a deal. My daughter has one, it's not a year long battery life. It's 3-4 months at best, btw

Ugh. Activity trackers for children?! Give little Johnny a ball and a stick and send him outside. He'll figure it out.

I can't speak specifically for the jr, but I have the Vivofit 3 and it's going on 18 months on the original battery...
