This deal is $5 dollars more than the price on Amazon for non-steelbook, but this is a great deal for people who collect steelbooks. This deal also seems to include the $15 dollar movie voucher. You can take an additional $1 off by selecting free store-pickup. The option shows up by first selecting the free shipping option.

Thumbs up, original JP had negatives scanned, not sure about the others. I'd double dip on JP and World but others were pretty bad

I paid $19 for the 4 movies on Bluray with Jurassic World being the 3D copy. Is it worth the premium for 4K?

I don't see any reviews out yet on 4K version. Maybe?

The original Jurassic park will definitely be worth it. The 2nd one was decent, I didn't care much for the 3rd. World was great. All in all, a good buy especially if it brings movie cash for kingdom. It's a win win.

The first one for sure, but most of the CGI cannot be improved unless it is redone.

I will buying the first one for sure, but I'm not a fan of the scanner Universal uses.

FYI, I'm a film and scan specialist at WB. Not a homer, but WB produces the best scans period. The Matrix Trilogy should be on the market soon.

For 5$ difference worth getting steelbook.
Thinking of selling my original trilogy and Jurassic world on eBay, sell the digitals from this set.

That should lower the price

But would have made more sense to not include hieratic world in the original trilogy

Oh, do tell more about the Matrix Trilogy! Smilie

I just got a 4k setup and was debating on waiting for the Matrix Trilogy instead of just buying the single film next week.

PMs also welcome with any details! Smilie

Likely yes. I saw a comparison video that showed some of the super wierd filters and effects they added to the Blu Ray version. Hopefully all that won't make it into the 4k Blu Rays.

I use to like the steelbooks but stopped since it's been a pain keeping the paper backing/art on there since it's not attached (usually a weak piece of glue)

Looks like only the first JP and Jurassic World are real 4K.

I'm going to wait for a real 4K remaster.

Only a matter of time for something this popular.
