Their website screams: "We probably will have our payment information hacked because of the lack of security in our website". I just get that vibe when I'm on their website. heh.

Price was good enough to make me jump on replacing one of my (4) older HDHR-2US units since apparently the HDHR4-2US units have a newer tuner that pulls in stations slightly stronger. Might be useful to grab some fringe stations that tend to occasionally pause or jerk. (mostly the public television stations). The older one can now be a backup although since it has two rf inputs..one for each channel it's more useful if you want two antenna's pointing different directions.

Guys, help me out here, do I need a basic cable to make this thing worked? what's else do i need to make this thing running, what's the benefit for this box? thanks for your reply

This doesn't require cable. It is meant for over that air transmissions. You will need an antenna and a switch/router to connect it to.

They have an app you can use it with or connect it to an on-site Plex server.
