Nintendo eShopIn the fantasy realm of Victusia, the members of the elite Battle Chef Brigade are revered for their ability to skillfully take down monsters and transform their kills into delicious cuisine! But getting in isn't easy; chefs from across Victusia must vie for their spot in a high stakes competition. Follow two contestants, Mina and Thrash, as their journeys through the tournament unfold. In order to become a Brigadier you'll need to hunt monsters with combo-based attacks and prepare your freshly caught ingredients in puzzle-based cooking challenges to serve up winning dishes to the judges – all while the round clock ticks down.

Fantastic game. I got in on the Kickstarter and $14 is a steal. Gorgeously animated, pretty much 2 games in one. Highly recommended

Damn I would love having this on the switch, but I'm tempted to not update my switch =\
Can you not go on the eshop if you haven't updated the system?

You can use the eshop or play games you have currently installed on your system (without installing any game updates). But as soon as you update the games you need to update the Switch's OS, which would defeat any current progress towards Homebrew development and "jailbreaking" the console.

Unfortunately, waiting for a Jailbreak can end up being forever/never. And that to me is worth my money to just purchase the games vs waiting and missing out on great experiences. That, and you can support devs for their hard work. To each their own.

I thought the hardware exploit was unpatchable in current iterations of the Switch? Or is this something else?

That was my understanding too. Would love to hear more about this. I've yet to start my research on the home brew stuff.

There is a current old system version home brew. The new version less exploit isn't as far along

I just watched the trailer (from danjng's link). I have no idea what I just watched, but I am totally buying this game.

Ah trust me I want to pay the devs money for their work, but I would love to be able to save all my progress in a memory card that i can backup and so that I don't have to rely on the cloud. I don't really play old games, but if Nintendo ever releases Zelda WW or OOT on the switch I would update immediately

I had pretty high hopes for this game. Animation is super ugly. Looks like a cheap, amateur flash game, and the UI leaves much to be desired. Another 3 or 4 months in development and maybe they'd have had a real knock out title.
