Great deal. Have one of these, thin plastic but good for storage.

Perfect for throw in the back of the truck case. Only trust pelican for airplanes though.

I got one of these for hunting season last year. Fit my rifle fine just not like high end cases that have thick plastic or carbon fiber shells. This is a thin walled case but will work in most cases for occasional use.

1. I wouldn't ever put my guns in a case for storage. it's not safe, and it's also not good for the gun (humidity - rust).

2. I have a lot of cases, including very high end pelicans. these days I simply put my gun in ups long shipping box and head to the range. this is because I don't want anyone to know that im carrying a gun out the door in the event i get spotted walking outside or back in.

What's the point of spending all that money on high end pelican cases and use a cardboard box?

The box gives him +10 stealth. He learned about tactical espionage from Metal Gear Solid.
