Are these good tools? I'm interested in the Hammer Drill and am comparing it to a Makita brushless drill.

A coworker let me borrow his oscillating PC and it has been impressive to say the least. Been waiting for a deal to come. Thanks op!

A couple decades back, Porter Cable could easily hang with the likes of Makita, but since Stanley B&D bought them in 2004 quality has tanked and that Makita would eat this PC for lunch.

I have many of the 20v tools and I love them. If you are a weekend warrior these tools will be great for you. If you are a contractor you wouldn't even bother looking at this thread except to thread crap on it

We have 3 Porter Cable sets for our farm that we use almost every day. They are solid tools with good batteries. In my opinion it isn't worth the extra price of Milwaukee ,makita or DeWalt unless you use them all day for construction or something.

Quality and comfort of the tools is not even close. But if you're a weekend warrior they'll probably be fine. I own this oscillating tool and hate it, my dad's Craftsman is so much better. I wish I spent the extra 20 bucks and got the Craftsman. If you can I'd go with either Ryobi or Rockwell over this for oscillating tool.
