This is amazing for modded ps3. Speed almost the same as ssd for ps3. Also alot cheaper. Ps3 also can't use 2tb or larger hdd. These are great for a gaming console or cheap gaming pc

I put one of the 2tb during one of the previous sales in my living room pc (fractal design node 202 case, so no room for a 3.5"drive) for steam mass storage and have been very happy with the performance. It's going on 6 months and have had 0 issues. Snappier than a standard hard drive and lower cost per gb than an ssd.

Coupon works fine. It is posted right on the Newegg page. On Amazon it is $1 more and I have to pay tax so this is a much better deal. +rep

Excellent drive, I have the 2TB version of this in my PS4 Pro. Super fast, and no issues.

Agree. I also have had 2 Seagates fail on me. Made a new build last year, decided to give them another chance. With 2 weeks, the 1TB Seagate is making loud static noises when read/writing. All my other WD drives have had no issues.

WD for life.

Maybe its the mobile app then. I tried again but it keeps saying error. I will try on my desktop later.

I am in a state where there is a delayed tax.. they ask me next year.

I am waiting until ssd becomes competitive with hdd. Sshd will hold me over for now. I am still yearning for 1-2 tb ssd but not at current prices. I will have to live with the gaming load times.. im not that important where every minute counts anyways lol.. but boy ssd changed my attitude about convenience. Made PC as relevant as tablets. 13-30 seconds vs 1 minute 30 seconds.

Bought two 2tb Firecuda one year ago. First failed after one day. No data written ( totally zero bytes), just connected and formatted. Second failed after 6 month. Seagate send refurbished drive for replacement, not new.

I have had the 4TB version of this in my Plex media server for over a year now. It's very close to ssd speed and runs great.
