The wizard Irenicus holds you captive in his stronghold, attempting to strip you of the powers that are your birthright.
Can you resist the evil within you, forge a legend of heroic proportions, and ultimately destroy the dark essence that haunts your dreams? Or will you embrace your monstrous nature, carve a swath of destruction across the realms, and ascend to godhood as the new Lord of Murder?

Be aware, this game is meant for TABLETS. You might be able to get away with it on a note with a stylus, but it was pretty painful playing this on my galaxy s8+. I still did it because I love the game, but just be warned.

Does it allow pinch to zoom? I think that helps, sadly the UI along the sides in Icewind Dale was still very small.

You cannot pinch and zoom the UI buttons around and overtop of the main play screen and that is where most of the issues come into place.

Since it's not showing on the app, it's also $1.99 for iOS.

Not familiar with the series. Are they standalone stores? Looking for something to play on a long plane trip.

I got Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition last week.

No, they are directly connected. I think you could play 2 without 1, but you will be confused.
Icewind dale I could never get into. It was too generic.

Anyone try using a non-touchscreen Chromebook? Screen will be plenty big enough, but not sure about the controls.

I also got icewind last week, and enjoy not having to pay to play for a change. Can I use my higher level characters on this?

Baldurs Gate 1 is also on sale. If you had to choose one, which is better?

BG2 is way bigger and better. It's gonna be kind of tough getting in to without playing BG1 but BG1 is kind of a slog to get through.

BG2 is definitely better than the first and you can play it without playing 1. It technically builds off of BG1, but the way the game starts out makes perfect sense and the dialogue options will get you into the story just fine.

I know because that's how I was introduced to the series. I went back and eventually played thru BG1 but I had NO issues enjoying my first gameplay of BG2. Still my favorite RPG of all time.
