While not the greatest version of each tool they'll mostly get the job done. Decent starter kit at great price, this is lowest it typically goes. (I bought a few yrs ago but since got upgraded versions of each tool as-needed)

This is a great kit for anyone to get started with a good set of all around tools. I bought this when it was the spring black friday for the same price. The batteries are small but perfect excuse to buy more combo kits to get better batteries and the new HP ones that are coming out. I don't see the need for cordless mobility on the circular saw and I have a corded 7.5 in so I was planning on selling the circular saw before I even got the kit shipped but I was surprised by the build quality of the circular saw when it arrived. I feel it is significantly better than the ones in the cheaper kits. I have gotten some good use out of the multitool and reciprocating saw with no issues so far but the tool I actually have used the most is the flashlight haha.

Got this sometime back. Great set for diy. Batteries are plenty powerful for everyday things. Circular saw eats batteries though

These combo packs usually come with really cheap versions of each product. If you buy them individually they seem to be much nicer. I luckily bought a small combo pack the first time and ended up upgrading soon after to better Ryobi versions. Their brishless products are awesome

Decent set at a pretty good price for simple DIY projects. I think the similar set with brad nailer (instead of multi-tool) that occasionally goes on sale for this price is a much better deal.
If you think you might even remotely catch the woodworking or DIY bug, you will quickly outgrow these, so I wouldn't even call it a starter set. But if you just need to get a few things done, they're fine.
2005 called, they want they're non-LED flashlight back.

I've had this kit for almost 2 years and "cheap" isn't how i'd describe it. I'm not building houses with them but for a typical home owner looking to do a few DIY's around the house, this deal can't be beat.

Circular saw is the only lacking piece here but even for a couple 2x4's, plywood and decking, it's been fine.
