in for 1. thats a really good price for new. They charge sales tax but still a slickdeal. They usually go for 800-900 used. The f2.8 GM would be ideal choice but I dont have $2K.

This looks like an amazing deal. Tempting even tho I just bought a lens a couple weeks ago so can't justify spending another 800

Sold out! Was thinking about buying this even though I don't have a Sony full frame, but decided against it as $800 is $800, and if I ever bought an A73, I'd buy it primarily for portraits. I already have an EOS M6 with the exceptional 11-22m, which is a MUCH lighter and smaller combination for casual landscape photography, so just couldn't pull the trigger on this one. Great deal for Sony A7 owners who were looking for this lens.

That's a great price for a FF Zeiss lens. I also like the F/2.8, just that it cost too much and interesting enough the F/4 resulted in some amazing photo (with proper scenery and skill ofc). I found this link on the comparison.

Really tempted to get one myself now

Thanks. Got 1.

Wanted a native wide-angle zoom for video on A7iii. It's crazy how good that camera is in low light. I think f4 will be just fine.
