One thing I don't like is that it doesn't come with any software.

Just download mini tool. Who cares about free included crapo software.

Not terrible, but I'd rather spend the $10-15 more on the MX500. Some of the best performance available, coupled with a great warranty make it a better value for cost.

THIS!

Further evidence that too many people equate a cheap SSD price as a Slick Deal. The extra two years warranty more than makes up for the price difference by buying the Crucial MX-500. The huge performance difference is the icing on the cake.

This or Micro Center's in-store deal on the 240GB Inland Pro MLC? Not much info on Walmart's page and I am running on dookie speed Wi-Fi at the moment.
