I have and love it but it is not very slick. Got it for 15ish like 2 months ago.

I don't know why, but I think the coffee tastes better when made in a glass carafe. However, after breaking two of them (the glass is thin!) I switched to stainless and have been happy. One full carafe is enough coffee for two.

I've been using this every day for that past year and a half. Love it, and better than my old glass Bodum..

Thanks OP, perfect timing. I just broke my glass bodum that I've had for years.

As others have said, this is a great item, I use it daily, but I think if you wait you can get it cheaper. I think mine was $10.

Just to add another personal experience, I have owned a Linkyo brand version of this and I think they might be the same product. Anyway, it's worked great for me so far and is even cheaper.

I think I have the Acok brand which is identical and the SO loved it. I've since moved on to pour-over and enjoy it even more...

Out of curiosity, what makes this better than your old glass Bodum if you don't mind my asking?

This is a great press. Durable and keeps your coffee warmer far longer than glass. Great price!

LINKYO French Press Coffee Maker - Easy Clean Stainless Steel Coffee Press, 34 ounce (1 Liter) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013H0S....AbVJF0VAC

$17 here. I believe it's the same product with different branding. I haven't used it so I can't say if it's good/bad. I'm a bit worried about the metal clinging onto the aromas of coffee cups past.

edit: Just notice d_reiter posted this same link. Gonna keep it here to make the link more legit.

It keeps the temps higher and more stable. The temp dropoff in a glass bodum is too fast and I usually experience weak coffee from it. Not to mention the obvious durability factor, stainless double wall is the only way to go IMO

Was $10 in 2015.

Bought it as a backup, ended up using it after glass broke. Well worth over glass any day.
