Title is off. Net price is $20 AFTER $10 GC. Price paid is actually $30.

Second line is more correct.

Is it true I should still get an anti virus on top/in conjunction with Malwarebytes? Read that somewhere

Honestly, malwarebytes and windows defender has done fine for me, but the caveat is im the only one who uses it. I dont go around opening emails from random ppl and downloading everything. If you or people who use your machine are like than run a lightweight antivirdus but performance will take a hit. also some antivurses dont play well with it. i had norton bluescreen a machine that had mslwarebytes on it.

does it extend existing coverage? (ie, I already got 1 year from a previous deal, but would like to have a couple of years banked)

Same here, got 3 for myself and one for elderly neighbors who were getting infected once a week from clicking on every sweepstakes banner possible. I think I paid $5 each back then... maybe 10 don't remember.

They could do something to get around the lifetime ones, I'm sure... Just like i had free lifetime downloads of a popular software and they (different company, this is not about malwarebytes) came out with a new version that they claimed was different enough to where they didn't have to honor the lifetime one anymore and they forced me to either be stuck with no more upgrades or let them convert it to their current bi-annual one.

I just found an unused one I bought years ago, and it still works. My Mom got it for her new computer. Smilie
