I would trade every single one of these titles for just one decent re-release of Capcom vs SNK 2. Not even a remaster, just a modern platform port with barebones networking.

Thanks but I'll also wait for the Super Alpha Ultra Hyper Street Fighter collectors 30th anniversary limited edition.

He was kidding but did it poorly.

1st, how can you re-release a 30th anniversary? It's gonna be a more than 30 years by the time such a title comes out, if ever.

2nd, The placement of the words are wrong. Super and Ultra never goes in the same title.

3rd, Alpha would be trailing the title.

So if we were to make up a fictitious name for a title, it would be:
Ultra Street Fighter Turbo Alpha 3 Max Limited Edition
(In japan, it would be called Ultra Street Fighter Turbo Zero 3 Double Upper Limited Edition)

But if it were a collection, it would have a "boring" name like:
Street Fighter 35th Anniversary Collection Limited edition

Sorry if I spent too much time on this. I'm procrastinating at work on a Friday!LMAO

I'll wait until Capcom releases a "Super" or "Ultra" edition with additional content that they will sell completely separately rather than releasing DLC for the originally released edition. I seriously hate that they do that. How many versions of Street Fighter and Devil May Cry are they going to sell?

Is that even realistic?? Cuz it sure doesn't sounds like it unless I'm dead wrong???
If we're talking about Capcom, yes this is totally realistic.

What? Look at all of their past street fighter titles and figure it out....

Also, if it wasn't obvious enough, he was being somewhat sarcastic. But the point stands; Capcom is notorious for re-releasing the same damn title over and over with a few additional features.

While I normally agree with you guys, that's not the case with re-release of compilations. I mean the SF2 and 3 as well as alpha games were made years and decades ago with final revision. From what I understand the HD remake of SF2 on Switch was developed with Nintendo so likelihood of that coming to other platforms is very slim (like Bayonetta 2).

That said, PC or PS4 version? I already pre-ordered with PRIME and 10% move coupon discount so about the same price for me. Also getting a copy for my bro on PS4 so we could potentially play online together although he doesn't have a ps4 compatible stick yet and have the older Madkatz TE stick.

I already have all this on RetroPie, MAME, etc.

What I'm waiting for is a sequel to Capcom's Alien vs. Predator...

I'm really on the fence whether I should get these. The idea of playing these games online against other players is great. But I wonder after a couple months, if people will still be playing online when there is SFV...

Patiently await ps4 version to drop to 20 before I buy. For any fighting games nowadays it's best to buy in ps4. There's more people on the ps4 as well as the games seem to be more polished.
